In regards to the graphics, this game isn’t finished is it – it’s in the very early stages – they’ll touch up the gfx last…

This has to take place before fusion. That’s the commander who was turned into the computer for that game.
I can’t wait to see Samus as more than just a walking tank. I just hope they don’t do anything stupid with her character.
IMO, it seems that this game will start a whole new style in the Metroid franchise seeing that it’s not exactly a fps or a side scroller. The “Any Objections Lady” shows that could be Adam which means that it would probably take place before fusion. It also showed Ridley and Full Mother Brain in the trailer. Also, in “Other M”, putting the M in the front shows “Mother” which could mean something. Game looks like it will have a strong plot and could reveal more of Samus’s past. (Lol long comment)

It is Adam. In the Metroid manga, Adam looks like this. Looks like Nintendo is giving a darker tone to Samus’ past.
It does have good graphics. I dont know what games youve been playing on it, but it’s graphics are good. Just because they aren’t like halo or Metal Gear Solid doesnt mean anything. The games’ graphics also matter, not just the system. And I don’t know what you mean with CGI, as every new game uses CGI in it’s gameplay.
why does this look ridiculously better than all the other metroids?
It looks like a federation trooper (the ones around the purple blob creature) and the lady is probably a bad guy or an x-clone
On the platform of the Wii, i see that this will be interesting with many creative aspects inputed.

well…this LOOKS like an direct spin off of metroid 3 for the snes……i hope it main tains that 2d fell and camera angle…b/c lets face it….3d is a pain in the ass in the metroid universe,
